Owner Frank Sorrentino started working at Mont Clare Shoe
Repair & Cleaners in 1953, learning tricks like how
to make those blister-causing shoes into your favorite pair.
He bought the store in 1975 and continues to run it with
devotion and loyalty to you, the customer.
Frank has missed one Saturday in the past 20 years and
never takes more than three days a year in March for vacation.
His Cubbies come first only during spring training!
The store is scattered with various bowling trophies from
over the years and Frank continues to hang with the guys
at the lanes on Thursdays. Ask to see the bowling trophy
for his perfect 300 game and he might throw in a free shine!
